Elaine Grainger Casting – Experienced Assistants

Elaine Grainger Casting is looking for experienced assistants to start immediately, or as soon as possible, to work on various films across Europe and the US.
This is to work mainly from home, with some in-person casting sessions and recalls with directors.

If you have experience in casting children please highlight in your email as one of the films requires a very wide child search across Europe and there are children in some of the other films too. If you have a base in Ireland please say as we have a couple of films shooting there.

We need someone to be self motivated and proactive with an excellent attention to detail and a high level of skills in research, admin and computers. You should have a very good knowledge of actors and agents, experience making lists, avail checks, in person sessions, the self tape process of downloading / uploading and using the usual sites such as spotlight and castit.

Alex Johnson is looking for an experienced Casting Assistant or Casting Associate

Alex Johnson is looking for an experienced Casting Assistant or Casting Associate to work on a couple of film and theatre projects. We need someone potentially in mid/late Feb and it could work initially as a part time engagement. Do have a bit of flexibility on this point at the moment.

The office is based near Notting Hill tube but you’d be required to work from home most of the time.

Own laptop and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in casting needed.

Must be familiar with Spotlight, Google Drive and Dropbox

Good knowledge of actors and agents.

Experience of checking avails, setting up sessions and running them if necessary

Attention to detail and good organisational skills.

Familiar with the Pact Equity agreement and deals/CANs.

Good to have experience doing child searches.
