I have worked in casting for over ten years, starting out as Suzanne Crowley and Gilly Poole’s
assistant, working on four series of ‘Spooks’ (BBC1), as well as Paul Schrader’s film ‘The Walker’
and ‘Tsunami the Aftermath’ for HBO.
I have worked in theatre, film and tv – with directors Roy Alexander Weise, Madani Younis, Dawn
Walton and extensively with Indhu Rubasingham at the Kiln (formerly Tricycle) Theatre, including
the Olivier award-winning ‘Handbagged’ and the Olivier nominated ‘The Invisible Hand’ and ‘The
House That Will Not Stand’. I also cast Paul Andrew Williams’s highly acclaimed debut play
‘Ticking’ and ‘Fences’ directed by Paulette Randall, both for the West End. Most recently I have
worked on Inua Ellams’s new play ‘Half God of Rainfall’ and Chinonyerem Odimba’s ‘Princess and
the Hustler’ at the Bristol Old Vic.
My film work includes Noel Clarke’s ‘The Knot’ as well as the award-winning feature ‘Common
People’ and the independent horror film ‘Final Prayer’.
TV includes ‘Inside the Mind of Leonardo’ as well as casting the children for the multi award winning BBC comedy ‘Outnumbered’ and the BBC drama series ‘Dickensian’.
