Biography |
Jane Anderson casts gritty drama through to fun filled comedies. She has been in Casting for over 10 years| working her way up the ranks as an assistant| then Casting Associate until going out on her own in 2010. Films include The Whistleblower| Hard Boiled Sweets and recent comedy features ‘Down Dog’ & the Cymru BAFTA winning ‘Convenience’ as well as the thriller ‘Monochrome’. Her small screen credits include ‘Spying on Hitler’s Army: The Secret Recordings’ and the award nominated series’ ‘All At Sea’ & ‘Hank Zipzer’. In her years as Casting Associate she worked on the likes of ‘Sherlock’. ‘Mo’| ‘Tess of The D’Urbervilles’ ‘The Diary of Anne Frank’| ‘Green Wing’| ‘Mark of Cain’ and ‘Housewife 49’ She has been a jury member for the International Emmy Awards and Manchester Film Festival. She also works with actors and degree and postgraduate students in audition technique and monologue preparation. She lives and works between Manchester and London.
