| Biography |
John has been working in casting since joining the National Theatre Casting Department as an assistant in 1989. After leaving the NT he worked for The Almeida, The Bush, Chichester Festival, English Touring Theatre, The Gate, Oxford Stage Company, The Royal Court and The Young Vic amongst others. This was followed by ten years with The RSC both as Deputy Head and then Head of Casting. working on all but one Shakespeare play, many classics and new writing. He is currently a member of the BBC’s in-house drama casting team working on productions such as Holby City, Father Brown and The Coroner
