Sally has a wide range of casting experience, from the West End through to childrens’ theatre and the Fringe.

She started casting when she worked at the Churchill Theatre Bromley as Administrator/ Casting Director for more than a decade. Since then she has followed a varied freelance career: working for leading children’s playwright and director, David Wood; acting as casting director for Sweet Charity, starring Bonnie Langford, at the Victoria Palace; and running her own production company for which she produced and cast Of Thee I Sing and Sweeney Todd at the Bridewell Theatre and Anna Weiss at the Whitehall Theatre (starring Catherine McCormack and directed by Michael Attenborough).

More recently Sally has cast the stage productions of Dad’s Army, ‘Allo, ‘Allo, Porridge and Morse for Calibre Productions. Other casting credits include Marry Me, You Idiot! with Lynda Bellingham; Red on Black, a new play about Mark Rothko with Peter Wight as Rothko (which she also co-produced); Gibraltar starring George Irving at the Arcola Theatre; No Way To Treat A Lady – a new musical – Jekyll & Hyde starring Dave Willetts at the Landor; Kathy Kirby:ICON and Christmas by Simon Stephens at the White Bear Theatre.

Sally began her career in theatre as PA to the late impresario Sir Peter Saunders. She has worked in the West End on many productions and has also worked on the administration of the Society of London Theatre’s Olivier Awards.
